My tire shop informed me that my sensors are going to need to be replaced soon because the battery life is very low. They recommended something called a Redi sensor? Has anyone heard of these or had any experience with these?

Yes, they are a universal sensor made by Siemens VDO. They work just as well as OE sensors.
