    2008 Chrysler 300 TPMS

I was on my way home from work the other day and got a flat tire so I put on my spare which is a full size tire and the TPMS light wont go off on my dashboard. I would like to fix it myself instead of taking it to the dealer or to a local tire shop.

Your TPMS light may be on because your spare may not have a sensor in it. If your spare has a sensor in it, you can attempt a TPMS system relearn. The instructions are as follows:

Ensure all tires are inflated to the pressure listed on the tire placard. When ignition is turned off, the system will be cleared and the TPMS telltale will turn off. The system will recalibrate when vehicle is operated at a speed of 30 mph for a minimum of 30 seconds.

If there is no sensor in your spare, you can add one and perform the TPMS system relearn posted above.
