Here are a few of the most popular styles of TPMS adapters. These are used on wheels where you cannot mount your tire pressure sensor through the original valve stem hole. This may be due to clearance issues with the hole or the hole bing somewhere in the barrel that you cannot get a tire on.

The first style is a straight through with a hoop for the sensor on the inner barrel:



The next few are for wheels where the valve stem either needs to go through a rivet hole (multi piece) or the valvle needs to clear brake caliper or suspension:
